Overview

TFM (Thermally Fused Melamine) particle board, also known as chipboard.

Composition:

TFM particleboard is an engineered wood product made by fusing a decorative melamine paper layer onto the surface of standard particleboard.

Working Properties

Surface Finish:

TFM particleboard has a smooth, pre-finished surface, eliminating the need for additional painting or laminating.

Edgebanding:

The edges can be edgebanded with matching melamine tape for a seamless look.

Stability:

Like standard particleboard, TFM particleboard has good dimensional stability.

Lightweight:

It’s lighter than solid wood or plywood.

Limited Load-Bearing Capacity:

TFM particleboard is not suitable for heavy loads.
